WG
From TeraGrid Wiki
TeraGrid development and operations, and a good portion of its decision making, is done within working groups. Each working group has a Chair and is organized under a GIG Area Director who is responsible for coordination between the Chair (and the working groups activities) and the rest of the TeraGrid organization (typically through her counterpart Area Directors).
Working groups come and go over time, and may only be periodically active, but typically exist for a year or more. While all TeraGrid members institutions are welcome to join any working group. Security working group participation is a requirement of the project. As a practical matter, participating in the Accounting group is also necessary in order to properly accommodate account, allocation and accounting needs.
