Gentlemen,
	Scott McCaulay at IU referred me to you as representatives of the
TeraGrid Forum.  I'm a doctoral student at Indiana University's School
of Public and Environmental Affairs, and I work for IU's Pervasive
Technology Institute.  I'm interested in studying the TeraGrid as an
organization, and I'm interested in using Social Network Analysis to map
the users of the TeraGrid.

I would like to ask your permission to obtain and make use of TeraGrid
accounts information to create this map.  I will be happy to anonymize
individual and site data, although I would want to retain PFOS
information for individuals and projects.  I will also pass this
research through Indiana University's IRB for human subjects.

Would this be agreeable to the TeraGrid?  I can share any results that I
obtain with the TeraGrid and the NSF.
